It’s time to bring the FEEL GOOD back!
Last September, we launched a FEEL GOOD Campaign. That campaign, which lasted a weekend, encouraged everyone to engage in activities that made them feel good. It was that easy— focus on feeling good. We received so much positive feedback from that FEEL GOOD Campaign. There were e-mails, Facebook and Twitter postings, phone calls, and face-to-face conversations— all from people who followed through and saw incredible results from simply focusing on feeling good. That inspired me to launch a new campaign…FEEL GOOD NOVEMBER— that’s 30 days to feel good this month.
Even if things aren’t perfect in your life right now, there are lots of reasons for you to feel good.
In the aftermath of a hurricane that has many still rebuilding their lives and recovering from, there couldn’t be a better time than now to relaunch this campaign. Because even at a time like this, there is still good to be found. You just have to know how and where to look for it. Find good in the relief that the storm is over. Find good in that safe place where you are now. Find good in the people who care about you. Find good in the gratitude that you feel being able to say “Well, it could have been worse.”
Joining this FEEL GOOD campaign doesn’t need to cost you anything and won’t require any great effort on your part. All that’s required is that you make the choice to feel good— today! Then, spend every single day this month either focusing on or doing something that makes you feel good. Remember, what you speak and what you do are connected to how good you truly feel. Be mindful of that.

One reason to feel good is that today is an opportunity to be better than you were yesterday. Don’t try to be perfect, just focus on improving yourself in some way. You will achieve the benefits in the long run. You can be who you want to be right now. It doesn’t matter what your situation looks like, you can start being who you want to be today. Remember…you get to choose. Ask yourself: “How can I be that person I want to be today?” Then, start doing the things that will get you there.
Learn something new every day. It is possible. Start thinking what you would like to learn and find ways to learn it. These days, you can learn anything with a Google search. It’s really that easy. Be creative. Write, draw or paint. Get artistic. Do what you enjoy doing and express yourself. It will make your day much more enjoyable. Plus, if you let other people see you expressing yourself, you will give them the freedom to do the same. Have fun. Watch a funny movie. Enjoy the company of your friends. Sing your favorite song at the the top of your lungs. Find a reason to laugh. Give someone else a reason to.
You can change lives for the better. Every one of us has the ability to change someone’s life today. Do you have a friend or a relative who you haven’t contacted for a long time? You can make them feel better today just by making a phone call or sending an email or text message. If you make changing other people’s lives a habit, you will feel better about your own as a result. You have an influence on the world. It doesn’t matter whether you influence millions of people or just one person – your impact is still powerful, whether you realize it or not.
